Spring Cleaning for your Garage and Garage Door

The weather has been AMAZING!! Not even spring more like Summer which is GREAT!
But with the weather getting better and as all the snow and debris has cleared away you notice you look at your home and it doesn't quite shine... Your Garage is 70% of the front of your home and can greatly impact the curb appeal  cleaning your garage door will also give you a chance to inspect the mechanisms of the door and make sure that everything is running properly. By taking the time to wash off the dirt and clean out the tracks, you will ultimately prolong the life of your door.

I get asked a lot how do I maintain the look of my new garage doors?
As the weather is getting better its as simple as grabbing a bucket with some soap (the same soap you use to wash your car is recommended) and wiping down the exterior and interior with a cloth and than hose it all down.

I also suggest lubricating the rollers, hinges, and springs with WD40. This will ensure a smooth running door.

While your there I'm sure like me you've collected debris and cardboard from all that online shopping. Take the time to declutter, sweep, and empty out your garage to get the full effect.
