Overhead Space....? What Is it? Why is it important?

The overhead space in your garage will dictate whether you will need standard or low headroom tracks.

To simplify-- overhead space is the space between the top of the garage door and the ceiling of your garage when on the inside 

Why is this important?
1. Mainly Price- standard tracks are included in all of our New Garage door installation; but if you do require low headroom tracks it will cost an additional $75 per door as we need to install a dual track system to accommodate your door to go up.
2. When shopping for garage door quotes its always better to have this measurement as it will give you a more accurate quote when calling around

You will notice the picture on the left requires standard tracks as there is plentyfull overhead space. Where as the picture on the right requires a dual track system. The diagram below will give you a visual of what gets measured
