My wooden garage door was damaged when a parked car slide backward. I was going to replace the doors as the wood finish required yearly maintenance. I searched the internet and came across Direct Overhead Doors and read some good reviews. I contacted Rob and he responded promptly. He came visit my house and provided some good suggestions and samples to help me choose the replacement doors. It took about 1 1/2 months for the new door to arrive but it was worth the wait. Rob's installer Alex did a very professional job installing the doors and the new doors really improved the characteristics of the house.

Not only was the job performed on time it was clean and sealed better than I had hoped it would be. The door looks amazing (as you can see from the picture), even the inside of the garage looks 10X better. He ensured that all the seals were tight and he was done within half a day. NEW Garage Door Install with Opener
We ordered two 8x7 doors with one Lift Master 8550 with Direct Overhead Doors . Right from the beginning Rob took care of the process professionally , first he came to inspect my garage and measured it and also showed the samples of different Door types.., once we decided up on the Door type/color/style etc , It took about a month to get the Doors manufactured , once the door was ready Rob called and wanted to start Install on Aug 1st , which was a long weekend and we were bit reluctant since we had some plan to go out in the afternoon , Rob assured he will be done by 1.30 pm , so we agreed to do it on Aug 1st itself , he arrived at around 9.30 am and finished it around 1.30 pm as promised, Including the "CAPPING" for both doors ( Done by Rob's dad ) .Both Father & son duo were very personable and skilled people. We are very happy with the outcome. Only 3 days have gone by , so far it is super quite/smooth operation . opener had every features I was looking for. I guess we will have to wait at least for one Winter to go by to make further meaningful comment on the product performance , but based on what we have seen so far we are confident on the product and happy about the service . My mothers garage door is 20+ years old and needed replacement. I called Rob to go over and meet with my sister and give her a quote. "Nicest guy in the trades" was what my sister said about him. Very patient and did not try to gouge or up sell her because she was a woman. We felt very very comfortable dealing with Rob. He came on a Saturday and installed everything in 4 hours. We picked a metal door with a high R value because there is a room right over the garage. The colour was a special order, so there was a wait, but it was worth it. My wooden garage door was damaged when a parked car slide backward. I was going to replace the doors as the wood finish required yearly maintenance. I searched the internet and came across Direct Overhead Doors and read some good reviews. I contacted Rob and he responded promptly. He came visit my house and provided some good suggestions and samples to help me choose the replacement doors. It took about 1 1/2 months for the new door to arrive but it was worth the wait. Rob's installer Alex did a very professional job installing the doors and the new doors really improved the characteristics of the house.

NEW Garage Door Install with Opener
We ordered two 8x7 doors with one Lift Master 8550 with Direct Overhead Doors . Right from the beginning Rob took care of the process professionally , first he came to inspect my garage and measured it and also showed the samples of different Door types.., once we decided up on the Door type/color/style etc , It took about a month to get the Doors manufactured , once the door was ready Rob called and wanted to start Install on Aug 1st , which was a long weekend and we were bit reluctant since we had some plan to go out in the afternoon , Rob assured he will be done by 1.30 pm , so we agreed to do it on Aug 1st itself , he arrived at around 9.30 am and finished it around 1.30 pm as promised, Including the "CAPPING" for both doors ( Done by Rob's dad ) .Both Father & son duo were very personable and skilled people. We are very happy with the outcome. Only 3 days have gone by , so far it is super quite/smooth operation . opener had every features I was looking for. I guess we will have to wait at least for one Winter to go by to make further meaningful comment on the product performance , but based on what we have seen so far we are confident on the product and happy about the service . We picked a metal door with a high R value because there is a room right over the garage. The colour was a special order, so there was a wait, but it was worth it. The area was cleaned after and all old parts removed. I am extremely satisfied and would definitely recommend Direct overhead doors for any garage door need. I would hire them in again in the future.
